Immersive theater "Freddy"

Project "Eun" is skilled at uncovering the deeply buried personal stories within individuals through the use of metaphorical language. The interactive performance Freddy, planned by Project "Eun," utilizes waveforms that change in response to the volume of each participant’s voice, visually expressing their emotions on screen and drawing people into profound conversations.
Themes such as depression and suicide, faith and divinity—each shaped by different cultures and personal experiences—are brought into this space through language, preparing participants to confront their darkest truths.
Participants engage in discussions about Freddy, a collective term for forbidden or unspoken fears, revealing their most vulnerable selves on stage. They reflect on their weakest moments in the presence of Freddy and share these experiences with others. The screen continuously displays and erases words and figures commonly feared by society, diverting participants’ attention and subtly guiding their understanding of fear.
As conversations about Freddy intensify, the screen momentarily turns white, resetting the atmosphere of the stage. Through these recurring experiences, participants gradually uncover their own Freddy, gaining a deeper understanding of their true fears. By confronting these fears together and recognizing each other’s vulnerabilities, they ultimately experience a profound sense of liberation.
